Embleos is working on environmental studies that focus mainly on Environmental Impact Studies and Strategic Environmental Impact Studies. The Are required to assess the environmental impact of proposed projects and activities, are now being developed at a stage, at the same time as the final study of the proposed project and are approved by the Decentralized Management or the Ministry of Environment and Water. Also, In cases where a project needs to be modernized, modified or expanded and depending on the degree of its proposed changes, the corresponding MPE is also drawn up. The approval of an EIA, following consultation and publicity of the study, results in the decision approving the environmental terms that must be respected during the construction and operation of the proposed project.
The environmental department has a fully trained and experienced staff with deep scientific knowledge, is aware of environmental legislation and its correct interpretation, and is constantly informed about developments in environmental planning both in Greece and in the rest of Europe.
